The 30 mm Round RLV-HEF-LD with High-Explosive Fragmentation Long Distance Grenade is intended to defeat manpower and combat materials by means of fragments at range of up to 2 100 m. Rounds should be fired from AGS-17 and AGS-30 grenade launchers, including their modifications, mounted on various hardware models.
The Round is fitted with distance-armed and self-destruction Fuze AF37.
