Overview

40 mm ARSENAL Stand-alone Grenade Launcher SAGL is a single shot, powerful close support weapon, intended for use against single and area targets at distance up to 400 m.

A Rail MIL-STD 1913 (Picatinny) is integrated on every Launcher (at the 12 o'clock position) for attachment of additional accessories.

 

Main Features:

40 mm SAGL characterizes with:

- Chromium plated barrel bore, which enlarges the life of the weapon;

- The metal surface finish ensures the corrosion resistance of the weapon, and makes the Launcher suitable for using in different climatic conditions – rain, snow, salt water and high temperatures;

- Easy cleaning and maintenance;

- The Sight is mechanical, frame type, taking into account the derivation of the grenade. In the marching position, the Sight is folded.

This Launcher enables higher practical rate of fire, in comparison with the Grenade Launchers intended for firing case grenades, due to its muzzle loading, and a trigger-firing mechanism of self-cocking type.
