The 82 mm HE 82LD Mortar Bomb is one of the most up-to-date high explosive bombs of the 82 mm caliber. Its performance – especially range and effect – is the best possible for any tactical purpose.

The HE 82LD is one of the most up-to-date high explosive bombs of 82 mm caliber, due to its streamlined design of the body and well calculated and shaped fin stabilizer assy, the bomb can reach 6 200 m firing range which is among the longest and most accurate ranges known for this type of ammunition.

The optimum blast and fragmentation effect of approximately  1 400 effective fragments is achieved by the use of spheroidal graphite cast iron with predominately ferritic structure.

Main Features:

This Mortar Bomb is fuzed with AF621 (Point detonating, super quick action, boresafe type) fuze.

The HE 82LD Mortar Bomb has been designed as suitable ammunition for the 82 mm caliber Mortars, with a barrel length not less than 1 220 mm.

82 mm HE 82LD can be fired from 82 mm Mortar M82MA and M82MAL, etc.
