The Hand Grenades GH-CS and  GH-CS-1  are used to incapacitate criminals, handle hostage situations, assist counter terrorist operations, as well as, operations for order restoration, via creation of partition irritant smoke screen / cloud.

The purpose of the intended use is to obtain the incapacitating effect, i.e. temporarily incapacitate a person, preventing from active well-directed operations and physical aggressive activity via the creation of a smoke cloud with irritant substance.
