GHTB is used for combined destruction, both by air-blast and thermal emission:

-   of the enemy manpower and equipment located mainly in closed and semi-closed rooms, trenches,
field shelters, buildings, artificial obstacle, caves and in the open, as well as

-   of light armoured and unarmoured vehicles.

It is used against terrorist and criminal groups performing terrorist and sabotage acts in peace and
wartime.
