The 40x46 mm Rounds RLV-CS type produce a gas cloud with concentration of irritants CS which causes severe irritation to the eyes and upper respiratory tract and skin.
The purpose of the intended use: to obtain the incapacitating effect, i.e. temporarily incapacitate a person, preventing from active well-directed operations and physical aggressive activity.
The 40x46 mm Round RLV-CS-2 is intended to be used to incapacitate criminals, handle hostage situations, assist counter terrorist operations, as well as, operations for order restoration.
